Satoru: Did you enjoy the book?
Melissa: Not really. The dude is zany, but often too preachy.
Satoru: I like to remember Mark Twain's words: we're all missionaries in some sense. This guy was merely tooting his own worldview, not demanding others believe it . . . I don't agree with everything he says, but some of it resonates.
Melissa: Newfields is a loose cannon: some of his comments seem right on, but others are far off the mark.
Tim: Anything we read critically is apt to seem that way. Perhaps the author probably didn't take his own words so seriously: much of the text is warped into indiscernable image. The boundary between text and image is fluid here.
Melissa: Anyway, a few ideas got through.
