Melissa: What class dynamics are going on here? Tim: How can we know? There are so many levels of interaction in every class. We only catch a fraction of what's going on. Melissa: Let me be honest and say I don't agree with this whole concept of "levels". That notion creates an artifical heirarcy. Tim: Okay. Fair enough. Melissa: And isn't it tiring to focus on so much? Tim: Not really, especially if you do it playfully. If you don't enjoy exploring what goes on in class, you're probably shouldn't be a teacher.
