Sam: The problem with satire is that it is sometimes hard to tell when the author is serious.
Tim: Does it really matter? Life is one big satire . . . yet it is also infinitely serious.

False Prayers

Blessed be the peace breakers
and those who kill
as they please

Blessed are the covetous
and those filling their pockets
for greed

Blessed are the harlots
open to new opportunities

Blessed are those who claiming to be blessed
and marketing sanctity

Blessed are those seeing through these shams
recognizing nothing human
is blessed

Benedictions from the Beast
are many
but Salvation
is not on this earth

still
perhaps it is good
to relax
Remember the Big Picture
then breathe softly
and gerp
.
