Original Essay

A-mei and CoCo Lee are both famous female singer. They have wonderful voice and lots of fans. Both are beautiful and charming woman, but they differ in some ways.
A-mei is a native Taiwanese with shiny eyes. She has a hard to describe fascination. Maybe it is because she is an aboriginal woman. She often sings in Taiwanese. Sometimes she also sings in Chinese or English. Recently she made some concerts in Taiwan, China, Malaysia, and Singapore. And she often remembers to use newspapers and TV broadcasting to say hello to everybody. She knows how to spread her warm and power. Ai-Mei has the ability have can let people's hearts comfortable and warm. When I hear her romantic songs, I often burst into tear. When I hear her rock and roll song I become elated.
CoCo Lee was borned at America and many of her songs are in English. Recently she sang in many countries like America, Korea, Hong Kong, and mainland China, but she always has less time to touch her fans.
Even though A-mei and CoCo Lee have different temperments, both continue to be popular. A-mei is probably more popular than CoCo Lee in Taiwan, but in Hong Kong CoCo Lee has more fans.

R e v i s i o n

A-mei Chang and CoCo Lee are both contemporary famous Asian vocalists with a growing number of fans around the world.
A-mei (also known as Sherry Chang) is a native Taiwanese with a powerful voice and sexy body. Born in August 1972 in Taitung (southern Taiwan), she has the ability to touch many peoples' hearts. Her romantic songs make fans burst into tears and her rock and roll songs charge people with energy. Ever since her first albulm "Jie Mei" (means sisters in Chinese) appeared in 1996, she has been a sensation. Though she occasionally she sings in Chinese or English, most of her songs are in Taiwanese. She admires Sting, Janet Jackson, TLC, and Whitney Houston. In 1998 she gave concerts in Taiwan, China, Malaysia, and Singapore.
CoCo Lee (also known as Ferren Lee) was born in June 1975 in Hong Kong, but raised near San Francisco. Many of her songs are in English. In 1998 she gave tours in the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Unfortunately, she has less time to reach out to her fans in Taiwan than A-mei. CoCo Lee has released seven albums since 1994. In many ways her songs are like Mariah Carey's, and her hip-hop dance style resembles like Janet Jackson's.
Even though A-mei and CoCo Lee have different temperaments, both remain popular with Asian audiences. A-mei is especially popular in Taiwan, but in Hong Kong and Singapore CoCo Lee probably has more fans.
