An-Yi: (surprised) Perhaps, but every point on the surface of a sphere can claim to be its center.
Bhäraté: Perhaps, but I sense a growing undercurrent of arrogance in China.
Satoru: (laughing) Don't be naive – every nation is arrogant in its own way.
An-Yi: Besides, most nations are less monolithic than we imagine.
Chariya: (entering a trance) . . . Friends, dialogs like this can go on forever. However, our time on earth is short. Is this the best way to spend it?
