Several times I've listed my email addrress on the Internet.
What usually happens is spam engines suck up the information 
and start sending junk mail. I have no desire to buy Viagra,
try online gambling, make a fortune investing overseas,
or experience the joys of online romance . . . .  

Once every now and then, however, a person I've lost contact 
with or former student does try to contact me. I'm usually happy 
to communicate with real people whom I've have actually met or
persons who are seriously interested in talking about art, poetry, 
or inner growth.

Naturally, no blank spaces in the actual email address exist and
the *at* and *dot* should have the appropriate symbols.
