FORCE OF REASON: The rationalization of violence

	The compassionate Christianity of NATO bombers
	and democratic influences of M-16s
	inspire productive change.

	The way laser-guided missiles
	stimulate consensus
	and military invasions
	enhance compromise
	seems less and less strange

	Today many nations are stuck
	in such $eductive hypocrisy -
	killing for p€ace
	murdering people to make 'em free
	and committing untold horrors
	in strategic sacraments
	called "cleansing"


Satoru:   The wrong doings of any nation should not be blamed on any religions.

Frida: 	  What else is religion for? Isn't it all about preventing sin and spreading compassion?

Ying: 	  Over time, every religion mutates to the point of parody – that's inevitable.

Satoru:   Perhaps so, I also believe God reaches out in more ways than we can acknowledge 
          . . . and even satire like this has its value: it reminds us to be cautious 
          about combining 'empire' with 'faith.'
