FERTILIZATION: some thoughts about cyclic existence and critical questioning Is fertilization the beginning of death - & endless transmigration implied by every breath? Are our bodies vehicles fer higher goals or does existence already embrace us in ways indivisibly whole? After years ah searching fer answers ta such questions one konklusion seemz klear: We should breathe softly & accept that we know little & since death iz already present there's also little ta fear Lis: This poem seems full of uncertainties. Lex: That's good. Only fanatics are free of doubts. It's healthy to question all beliefs. Linda: Perhaps, but questioning can be immobilizing. Those who question eternally don't commit to action. And non-commitment is a sign of cowardice. Lex: Balance is what's needed. Certainly questioning nothing is foolish. Yet questioning everything endlessly is equally absurd. Ron: Ugh! Meta-analysis is so tedious. And since our understandings are never perfect, it's also frustrating. ===================================================================================== from _Last Poems: Lost Poems_ by T Newfields SUMMARY: This is a conversation and a poem about a how birth and death go together, and also a strange transdimensional picture.
