QUEER FEARS: Normalizing Same Sex Love

    Oh no!
    Can it be?
    Men kissing men!
    Smooooching where others can see!

    Hey, why not?
    Is homophily anything new?
    Why fret about such trifles?
    There no problem in my view.

    My God! Isn't that awful?
    Two women moving amorously and rubbing ahh – 
    do I need to state this explicitly?

    Why not?
    What's wrong?
    Learn to see anew:
    When attraction happens
    bodies do what they naturally do.


Miok:    (shaking her head) This poem is too homophilic for me.

Cantara: (nonchalantly) Why should that be a problem?

Miok:    But ahh, it's not ahh, normal. . . .

Chris:   So? That's a non-issue. In my view the only problem is lousy poetry. That alone is unforgivable.
