VERDIGRIS: A celebration of green

	The radiance
	of dark malachite crystals
	& glitter of shiny chromium sheets

	The patina
	of corroded bronze sculptures
	& chlorophyll-intoxicated leaves 	

	The luster
	ah spotted frogs on lilies
	& lights of vehicles that speed

	The tint
	of pointed pine needles
	& emerald hues of foggy heaths 	

	The beauty
	of dense rainforests
	& shimmer of arboreal centipedes
	Our world has so many reasons
	to celebrate green! 	


Noel: 	Why rave about green?

Tara: 	I dunno, but can't you sometimes sense the fantastic green energy ah life?

Orapan: (frowning) Money i$ dah only "green energy" mo$t people urr intere$ted in.

Tara: 	Nah. It's a poor substitute for dah feeling ah being alive.
