TOMORROW'S DISCOVERIES:
Exploring Alternative Realities

	Beyond the clouds
	across the stars
	are worlds of azure sunlight
	with methane rain

	Worlds of frozen hydrogen
	and spheres of golden haze –
	Planets waiting
	to be discovered
	with life forms
	that have seen no human gaze

	Our greatest surprise is waiting:
	& someday we'll encounter creatures
	regarding us as tasty treats.

	As you munch on your chicken breast,
	or put another burger away,
	contemplate this:

	Are there creatures in the universe
	who prefer human flesh
	flambéed with Lithian grapes?


Gwen: 	Ah, here on Earth there are still a lot of life forms were haven't discovered.

Tara: 	Yeah, that's because we still haven't discovered ourselves.

Noel: 	Huh? I'm not talking about science – not mysticism.

Tara: 	I know. Most people's definition of "science" is too narrow.

Orapan: (diplomatically pausing) Maybe. Actually, each scientific theory seems to 
        invite the question: who are we?
